GAWAIN  (Exercises):  PANIBAGONG DAYALOGO

1. Take the role of Malou.  Partner with someone who will play Lita’s role. Mark the lines in which Malou answers Lita’s questions.  Replace the responses with information about yourself.  As you interact with each other, Lita will adapt her lines accordingly.

2. Take the role of Lita.  Partner with someone who will play Malou’s role, following the pattern of the dialog.  Mark the lines in which Lita responds to Malou.  Replace Lita’s lines with information about yourself.  Malou will adapt her lines accordingly.

3. With a partner, assume your own roles in place of Malou and Lita’s, interact with each other giving information as close to your situation as possible. Review the list of Expressions below and use as many of the phrases as appropriate.  Be ready to present your dialog in class.  Have fun getting to know each other!
