The Incompleted Aspect.

The Incompleted Aspect or Imperfective Aspect is the form of the verb that expresses action that has begun and still continuing or incomplete and has no reference to completion.  It is used to denote an on going action or activity.  It is also used to denote habitual past action like majority of the verbs used in the dialog.  The English equivalent of this aspect is present progressive tense.

The Incompleted Aspect is formed by:

2. Insert the affix before the first vowel of the resulting word.

            RW                                                  gayuma
            Reduplicate 1st syllable                        gagayuma
Insert affix –in- infront of the first vowel            ginagayuma--> incompleted aspect

3. For verbs with prefix beginning with m like mag-, mang-,makapag-, simply change m- to n- and repeat the first syllable of the root word.
