LAYUNIN (Goal):
By the end of the Unit, the learner is expected to be able to:
1. use of subject focus and object focus verbs in reading, speaking, and writing on more formal topics
2. formulate basic questions and responses to questions using the subject-focus verbs ‘UM’ and ‘MAG’ and the object-focus verbs ‘I’, ‘IN’ .
3. learn about fifty vocabulary words related to current issues in the Philippines.
4. use with accuracy, the adverbial particles/enclitics ‘NA’, ‘PA’, ‘NGA’, ‘NAMAN’ and ‘YATA’.
5. read and recall a string of numbers through the millions, and the use of related interrogatives such as ‘ilan, ‘kailan’, and ‘gaano’.
