MAGALLANES: Before we come, discharge the canon six times as a sign of peace.
TAGAPAGSALAYSAY: Meanwhile, at the shore.
DATU: (To himself) Are they intimidating us? When you were not here yet, my heart was at peace.
TAGAPAGSALAYSAY: Before the mass, the place was first consecrated and Magellan sprinkled musk water on the entire bodies of the two kings. While the host was being elevated, all the artillery of the ship were fired at the same time.
ALIPIN: After the mass, Magellan had his men perform swordfight which pleased the two datu. Afterwards, Magellan had a cross brought and erected on the summit of the highest mountain.
