1.  Create an invitation card announcing the event described in the unit’s Dialog.  Then, write a    short note to a friend inviting him/her to the event on the card.

2.  Create an original invitation card announcing an upcoming event on your social calendar.
Exchange invitations with a friend in class.  Read the invitation you receive and “phone”    (i.e., pick) a classmate to invite to come to the event with you.  You may switch invitations in class several times and take turns inviting and responding.
