BALARILA 3:

 

SA markers and pronouns - for the non-focused Indirect Object of a sentence.

SA -  for common nouns, animate or inanimate:

                                    Singular              Plural
                                    Sa…                              Sa mga…

Example:  sa bahay, sa trabaho, sa Hawaii, sa mga otel, sa tatay, sa mga kaibigan
Sentence:  Pupunta ako sa bahay mo bukas.  I will go to your house tomorrow.

KAY / KINA  - for Proper names of people and for kinship and honorific titles:
                                   
                                    Singular                          Plural
                                    kay                                kina

Example:  kay Cecile, kay Eric, kina Lola, kay Kuya, kina May at Danny, kina Dr. Abad.
Sentence:  Pupunta ako kay Sophia bukas.  I will go to Sophia’s tomorrow.

SA  PRONOUNS:

2nd Person                      Sa iyo                            Sa inyo
