PANSIT BIHON
Mga Sangkap:
½ kilong Pansit bihon
½ kilong manok
½ kilong katamtamang laking hipon (binalatan at inalis ang ulo)
- tangkay ng seleri (hiniwang maliliit)
½ puswelong karot hiniwang parang palito ng posporo
- puswelong repolyo (hiniwang manipis at pahaba)
- kutsarang sibuyas (hiniwang pino)
- butil na bawang (tinadtad na pino)
- kutsarang mantika
Pamamaraan:
1. Pakuluan at palambutin ang manok.sa dalawang puswelong tubig. Timplahan ng kaunting asin. Hanguin at tanggalin ang buto at himaying pino ang laman. Itabi ang laman at ang sabaw na pinagkuluan
1. Ibabad ang bihon sa malamig na tubig sa loob ng mga limang minuto. Hanguin at itabi.
2. Igisa ang bawang, sibuyas, hinimay na manok,,at hipon. Isunod ang karot, seleri, at repolyo. Bantuan ng kaunting sabaw ng pinagpalambutan ng manok. Timplahan at kung luto na alisin sa apoy.
3. Pakuluin ang sabaw ng pinagpalambutan ng manok. Kapag kumukulo na, ihulog ang bihon at haluin ng mga limang sandali. Timplahan ng toyo at paminta.
4. Ilagay sa isang bandehado at ibuhos sa ibabaw ang ginisang manok, hipon, at mga gulay.
5. Ihain nang mainit na may kasamang hiniwang kalamansi sa paligid.
SALIN NG BABASAHIN 1
BIHON NOODLES
½ kilo pancit bihon
½ kilo chicken
½ kilo medium size headless shrimp (skinned)
2 celery stalks, (thinly sliced)
½ cup carrot ( sliced like matchsticks)
- cup cabbage (sliced into thin long strips)
- tbsp. onion ( thinly sliced)
- cloves garlic (minced)
- tbsp cooking oil
Salt, soy sauce, and ground pepper for seasoning
Procedure:
1. Simmer chicken in 2 cups water until tender. Add a small amount of salt. When tender, drain, debone , and shred chicken.
2. Soak pancit bihon in tap water for about 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
3. Saute garlic, onion, shredded chicken, and shrimp. Add carrot, celery, and cabbage. Add a small amount of the chicken broth enough to cook the vegetables. Season with salt or soy sauce. Remove from heat and set aside.
4. Boil the chicken broth and then add the drained pansit bihon and stir for about 5 minutes until cooked. Season with salt and ground pepper.
5. Put the cooked bihon on a platter and pour the sautéed chicken, shrimp, and vegetable mixture.
6. Serve hot with a garnishing of sliced calamansi or lemon around the platter. |
