Unit 7 - Ang Pagkaing Pilipino (Filipino Food)

PROYEKTO

1. Interview a Filipino who can give you his/her own  recipe of  Pansit Bihon.  Play the role of a TV cooking host.  Following this recipe , demonstrate to your audience how to cook Pancit  Bihon. 

a.)   Video tape the process and be ready to show the tape to the class.
b.)   Write a paper that compares and contrasts the recipe that you got from this interview  with the one found in this unit.

2. Create a Filipino-English dictionary which consists of:

a )  Different kinds of Filipino food/dish mentioned in the reading and a       description of the food.
b.)  Terms used in cooking

3.   Write an opinion paper about the a commentary which said that there is no such thing as Filipino food, because what the people claim as Filipino has actually been borrowed from another culture.
