LAYUNIN:
By the end of the Unit, the learner is expected to be able to:
1. write a short essay using simple narration, description and exposition.
2. write simple dialogs based on a text.
3. use comparison and contrast in a poem expounding on the theme of the unit using new vocabulary words with the aid of a dictionary.
4. gain fluency in reading and accuracy in pronunciation of passages from authentic material in Filipino.
